Anybody that has been homeless before has experienced a real emotional battle. Going from one house to the next, living with people that want to help you but really don’t want to help you. Not having the support you need just to obtain stability.

You guys have helped me in so many ways, but the main thing, the most important thing, is stability. Different resources that pushed me in the right direction. That led me to getting my own place, getting a job, maintaining my stability. Gaining my peace and perfecting my spirit. I thank you guys so much.

You know life still comes with its own challenges, and that’s okay. You have to sharpen that blade every day to elevate in life. Watching my daughter thrive—she graduated from junior high with a 3.8 grade point average, on the honor roll, and on the student council. Now she’s in high school, and she’s totally excited. My hard work has paid off with seeing her accomplishments. The more I push us in the right direction, the more she shines. That’s my number one goal in life—for my daughter to be the best that she is.
